Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three elder brothers. McCormick started dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed show-like puppets in front of the kids in her community. Her rise to fame as a fairytale started when she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 which led to a call from the talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and asked her if she'd like to be in show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. That same year, she was featured in another television commercial for Chatty-Cathy's doll. After that, she was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children for the part of the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with a blended-family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick revealed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year duration in the series. She was 16 years old when the incident occurred; he was 19. It would have happened she said but the timing wasn't right for us.
