Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, that are now known by the name of Maureen O'Hara, would certainly qualify her to being in the "child prodigy" category. It was an innate trait for a girl who was of Irish origin, and who was nurtured in her early years by talented family members and parents. Maureen was welcomed into this cherished refuge located in Ranelagh, Ireland on August 17th of 1920. The mother of Maureen, Marguerita Lulburn FitzSimons was a skilled contralto. Charles FitzSimons owned the Shamrock Rovers soccer team in Ireland. He also owned an Dublin business. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd child from Charles FitzSimons.
